Snow Lion is a contemplative school for young children. Contemplative education is experiential and happens from the inside out rather than being imposed from the outside in. Our highest educational value is self discovery – shifting the main focus from what we do to who we are. At Snow Lion we cultivate an environment that acknowledges and supports the process of self-discovery and friendliness towards oneself and others. The environment we create is alive with a sense of compassion, wakefulness, self-reflection, generosity, and openness.
